This includes LOB business management, business solutions & enablement, client lifecycle management, data management, strategy & transformation, and innovation.About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Macro Trading Business Manager (VP level role) within the COO team supporting the Macro line of business (Rates, FX (foreign exchange), Repo, and Structured Notes). Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.comIn this role, you will:Partner with the Macro Trading desk leaders to support their strategic prioritiesEngage and influence business management for a large, complex business with cross-organization level initiatives and strategyIdentify and recommend opportunities for large-scale business initiatives, including but not limited to development and execution of strategy, budgeting and forecasting, infrastructure planning, and broad compliance and operational risk effortsDetermine appropriate strategy and actions to ensure the businesses remain compliant with regulatory and internal standardsEnsure appropriate remediation of critical issuesPartner with internal stakeholders on risk reviews and auditsCulture of excellence career with focus on clients, delivering with precision and culture of collaboration; help train, mentor, coach and develop junior talentReview and analyze complex business, operational, or technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation on platform & processes; recommend & drive changeCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and management to resolve issues and achieve goalsBuild strong working relationships with CIB product partnersEnsure compliance with FINRA and other relevant regulatory rules and help guide team to improve process to meet market practices as they developRequired Qualifications:5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualifications:7+ years of interest rates experience, or other equivalent capital markets experiencePrior experience with Rates or FX tradingEffective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skillsExperience working with third party data from vendors like Coalition, Expand etc.Strong analytical and quantitative skillsProven ability to create effective relationships with internal partners across various lines of businessHigh proficiency in PowerPoint, Word and Excel with comfort creating business-ready contentSelf-motivated to perform at a high levelDesire to work in collaborative environmentA strong work ethic and positive attitudeA BS/BA degree or higher in business administration, economics, finance, or related fieldJob Expectations:This role is not eligible for VISA sponsorshipAbility to travel as neededWillingness to work on-site in accordance with current office requirementsAbility to work additional hours as neededThis position is subject to FINRA background screening requirements.
