The RN will perform comprehensive preoperative assessments, initiate IVs, administer medications, and ensure patients are properly prepared and educated for procedures. Responsibilities include reviewing histories, labs, and clearances, coordinating with surgeons and anesthesia, and maintaining accurate EMR documentation.
