Video Editor & Videographer Job at Amplifi, Eagle, ID

  • Amplifi
  • Eagle, ID

Job Description

We’re hiring an experienced, self-sufficient video editor and videographer who can take a project from production through post-production.

You’ll film and help edit content across YouTube, short-form social media, paid ads, educational courses, events, and other brand projects. We’re looking for someone who is equally comfortable behind a camera and inside Premiere Pro, and who can independently handle shoots, edits, and occasional travel.

YOUR JOB IS TO

  • Edit long-form YouTube videos, ads, courses, and other video projects
  • Film studio content, including operating cameras, lighting, and audio equipment
  • Prepare and set up equipment before shoots to keep production efficient
  • Organize raw footage and create string-outs or assembly edits for projects across the video team
  • Add b-roll, captions, graphics, transitions, music, and sound design to enhance storytelling
  • Understand modern creator-style editing and adapt pacing and storytelling to fit different platforms and projects
  • Properly organize and hand off footage using established file and folder structures
  • Independently troubleshoot basic production and post-production issues

TRAVEL & EVENT PRODUCTION

Travel is a regular part of this position. Approximately once per month, you will travel to in-person workshops and other events, often over a weekend.

At these events, you may be responsible for independently handling:

  • Event photography
  • Event b-roll
  • Recording keynotes
  • Professional audio capture
  • Setting up and breaking down cameras, tripods, audio equipment, and other production gear
  • Shooting additional social media, advertising, or interview content when needed

Occasional additional weekday travel may also be required.

MUST HAVES

If you don’t meet these, this isn’t the right role.

  • Fluent in Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Professional videography experience and confidence operating mirrorless cameras
  • Strong understanding of exposure, composition, frame rates, and lenses
  • Comfortable setting up and operating basic professional lighting and audio equipment
  • Deep understanding of pacing, hooks, storytelling, and engaging video structure
  • Able to independently run a studio video shoot
  • Comfortable traveling approximately once per month, usually on weekends
  • Comfortable working under management and taking creative direction
  • Able to handle quick turnarounds, sometimes 1–3 days
  • Able to adapt quickly to new workflows as our team and brand grow
  • Self-motivated and independent. We are not looking to train someone from scratch.

NICE TO HAVES

  • Experience editing financial, business, or entrepreneurship content
  • Experience with photography
  • Experience creating YouTube content
  • Familiarity with professional wireless audio, field recorders, and live event audio workflows

WHAT YOU GET

  • Be part of a fast-growing brand and contribute to videos, ads, courses, and content seen by a large audience
  • Work on a wide variety of projects across organic content, paid media, education, and events
  • Significant hands-on responsibility across both production and post-production
