Job Description

Responsibilities

• Design and develop full-stack cross-browser web extensions using React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Integrate the web extension with REST-based backend microservices.
• Collaborate with product management, UX, and development teams on requirements, technical solutions, and architecture.
• Implement coding standards, linting, testing, documentation, and software development best practices.
• Investigate, debug, and resolve complex technical issues in development and production.
• Drive application performance and optimization improvements.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and technical guidance.
• Contribute to internal technical documentation and improve the team’s technology stack and workflow.

Requirements

• Expert-level proficiency with React and its ecosystem, including React Query, Hooks, and Context.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript ES6+ and TypeScript.
• Deep understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, accessibility including ARIA, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience with REST backend integration and common software design practices such as design patterns and SOLID principles.
• Experience with browser extensions such as Chrome or Firefox is strongly preferred.
• Experience with C#/.NET is a plus but is not required.
• Experience with Webpack, Vite, Babel, npm or yarn, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Expertise in unit, integration, and end-to-end testing and proficiency with version control.
• Strong design skills and full software development lifecycle experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues, work autonomously, communicate effectively, and collaborate with globally distributed teams.
• Familiarity with web-based security principles, Azure DevOps, Azure DevOps pipelines, and YAML is preferred.
