Position Summary
We are seeking a highly qualified Contract Medical Reviewer to provide scientific and medical review support for medical affairs, commercial, and cross-functional initiatives.
The individual will be responsible for reviewing scientific content, evaluating clinical data, and providing balanced medical perspectives to ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency of materials.
This role requires strong collaboration with medical, regulatory, legal, and commercial stakeholders and the ability to apply sound scientific judgment in a fast-paced pharmaceutical environment.
Review scientific, clinical, and medical materials for accuracy, balance, and appropriate interpretation of clinical data.
Evaluate complex clinical study results, publications, and data analyses to support informed decision-making.
Provide medical and scientific input on promotional and non-promotional materials.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Commercial, Regulatory, Legal, and other stakeholders.
Ensure content is supported by scientific evidence and aligned with applicable company standards and industry requirements.
Identify potential scientific inaccuracies, data interpretation concerns, or compliance risks and recommend appropriate solutions.
Communicate medical and scientific concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Participate in ad hoc review projects and support business priorities as needed.
Maintain a high level of attention to detail while managing multiple reviews and competing priorities.
Required Qualifications
Advanced degree in a life sciences, pharmacy, medical, nursing, or related healthcare field (PharmD, MD, DO, PhD, PA, NP, or equivalent preferred).
Strong medical and scientific background with demonstrated ability to evaluate and communicate complex medical information.
Experience interpreting complex clinical data, including clinical trial results, publications, and real-world evidence.
Pharmaceutical industry experience required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong collaboration and stakeholder management capabilities.
Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to exercise sound scientific and professional judgment.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage workload effectively.
Previous medical review experience within a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare organization.
Experience supporting Medical Affairs, Medical/Legal/Regulatory review processes, or similar review functions.
Familiarity with regulatory and compliance considerations related to scientific communications.
The ideal candidate combines a strong scientific foundation with the ability to critically assess clinical data, communicate effectively across functions, and provide thoughtful, evidence-based recommendations.
Detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable working independently in a dynamic pharmaceutical environment.

Experience working in pharma required
